Bahamian Born, Bred and Proud! Chef Rome’ha Akiem Forbes is a Bahamian culinary force with over two decades of experience honed in some of the nation’s most prestigious resort kitchens. A graduate of the National Apprentice Chef Program at the College of The Bahamas, he has risen from apprentice to Executive Chef, leading the culinary vision of renowned destinations such as Abaco Beach Resort & Marina, Chub Cay Resort & Marina, and The Abaco Club on Winding Bay. He is also the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Soulhouse Supper Club, where he curates intimate dining experiences that celebrate bold flavors and elevated island cuisine. Known for his precision, creativity, and commanding leadership in the kitchen, Chef Forbes brings passion, innovation, and unmistakable Bahamian flair to every plate and every stage he steps onto.
